Blackheads can be avoided by the regular care of the skin and there are a number of home remedies available for the same. The home remedies are also very effective in healing the blackheads and they can save you considerable amount of money as well.

Some Simple Home Remedies for Removing Blackheads

  • Add one tablespoon of black-pepper powder to curd so as to make a thick paste. Apply the paste on the infected area and wash it off once it gets dry.
  • Add four tablespoons of yoghurt to two tablespoons of orange peel powder so as to make a paste. Apply the paste all over the face and wash it off with cold water after few minutes.
  • Add two teaspoons of soda bicarbonate to three cups of the boiled water and then steam a towel in this mixture. Place the towel on your face and repeat this process four to five times a day in order to cure blackheads.
  • Add one teaspoon of rice flour to one teaspoon of curd and rub this paste on the infected area. Use cold water to wash off the paste once it gets dry.
  • Mix turmeric powder with mint juice and apply it on the infected area. Keep it for 15-20minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process at regular intervals and the blackheads will vanish without leaving a mark on the skin.
