Let me say right up front that I cannot recommend any of the acne treatment products in the Clinique Acne Solutions lineup and the reason for that is simple. They don't make any real information available on what they contain. Instead, each one will have a vaguely worded promotional “schpeel” about the supposed benefits of the product. That is with the exception of their Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam, which does contain benzoil peroxide.
They do have one acne therapy product that does leave me scratching my head though and that's their Clarifying Powder Makeup. It's presented as somehow being “medicinal” due to its supposed mineral content and lack of oil. In my opinion this product is just his side of fraudulent in that “any makeup” of this type, no matter what it contains, is the last thing that a person with acne should be putting on their face. There is just no way that this stuff can help anyones acne condition.
Then they have a plain bar of soap that they're selling for around $10. Look, Clinique Acne Solutions is a cosmetics company that's doing a damn good job of encroaching into the acne treatment market with slick cosmetics style marketing and packaging. Not only are the vast majority of products that they offer, perhaps with the exception of their foaming cleanser technically not even acne treatment products but a few of them will actually make your acne worse.
