I've never used Murad Acne Complex But my daughter has. She has inherited the same mild form of acne that I had all through my teen years, so while I no longer use them I have become somewhat of an expert on most acne treatments that are out there. If me or my daughter hasn't used them at some point, I have studied them all and are familiar with how they work.
I will say this. She did have a moderate to high level of success with Murad Acne Complex. However; be aware that most all of the new multi stage acne treatment systems do deliver results in most cases. Its just a matter of how you want to go about battling your blemishes. Murad it appears to me is an excellent choice for someone who has a low tolerance to benzoil peroxide.
This is because it has none in it. It does have other ingredients that are effective against acne causing bacteria but none of them are as effective as benzoil peroxide. You see benzoil peroxide is a fine powder. It's not a liquid. So microscopic granules of benzoil peroxide actually lodge down inside the pores where they can hang around and kill acne causing bacteria until they are finally dissolved.
However; if you have a low tolerance to benzoil peroxide and are thus more susceptible to its side effects, having it lodged in your pores is not a good thing. Murad Acne Complex compensates for this by bringing more guns to the battle in the form acid based defoliator and a sulfur spot treatment for any blemishes that do try to make their way to the surface.
