I've been dealing with mild to moderate acne, centered mostly on my forehead since my early teens. I'm 23 years old now and currently on my third year at Sacramento State University and you can rest assured that I have tried virtually every topical treatment on the market since then. Some worked and some didn't but virtually all of them had one thing in common and that was that they seemed to leave my skin dry and scaly.
Then just over three years ago, right after I graduated I got a summer job at a ski resort up near Lake Tahoe and ended up sharing quarters in the female employee dorm with a girl who was using Proactiv Solution with Proactive Renewing Cleanser to treat her acne condition, which it turned out was much worse then mine. You would never know it though but I saw some picture she had of the time before she started using it. It was pretty bad.
Anyway, she let me use her full three course treatment for a week and the results were both amazing and immediate. The Proactiv regimen totally nuked the zits on my forehead and for once in my life, no screwed up dry skin either. My skin looked great! Anyway, it's been a few years now and its basically gotten down to just using the Proactiv Renewing Cleanser alone. It seems to do the trick and I just keep it in the shower and use it then once a day.
