I will readily admit that the Proactiv Face Wash doesn't contain any acne fighting medicine like the proactive deep cleaning cleanser that I've used before with their three stage acne treatment system. Even so, I've just come to trust the Proactiv name when it comes to what I put on my face and the includes what I wash it with. So this was really the one big reason that I have a big 16 oz container of Proactiv Face Wash in my shower.
It works great and I know that all proactiv cleansers and skin care products are specialty formulated for people who have blemish prone skin or people with acne. So one thing that I have noticed is that it doesn't leave my skin feeling like it has been stripped and depleted in the way that other types of specialty cleansers I have used in the past have.
I also prefer the naturally fresh herbal aroma of Proactiv Face Wash over others that I have used in the past. It's a light aroma that doesn't linger, so I never have to worry about it interfering with any perfume or after shower spray that I put on. Lastly I like the price of Proactiv Face Wash and the fact that it's available in huge economical 16 oz jugs with a handy plunger on top. This one definitely gets my stamp of approval
